Summary

Manganaro Midatlantic is looking for an Estimator to join our Pre-Construction team at our Beltsville, MD office. If you have an eye for detail while maintaining the accuracy of your work, Manganaro has a place for you!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interpret plans and specifications in order to prepare written proposals for bids and proposals
  • Possess knowledge of local material, labor and equipment costs
  • Maintain understanding of all local, city and state building codes in assigned locations
  • Manage and train project engineers and assistant project estimators to ensure proper growth within the organization
  • Continuously develop and improve upon knowledge for all product lines, including masonry, drywall, concrete, masonry restoration, building envelope and waterproofing

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting is preferred
  • 2 years of commercial drywall estimating experience as an Assistant Estimator OR 5-7 years of total commercial drywall estimating.
