Western Carolina University Lower Campus Residential Halls

The Lower Campus Residence Hall building will house approximately 932 students, and include double occupancy living units, single occupancy living units, kitchen/ living rooms spaces, laundry rooms, study rooms, resident assistant apartments, a university office suite, multipurpose room, and building support spaces. The project will consist of (1) 5-story building and (2) 4-story buildings totaling approximately 224,000 square feet. The structural and building envelope is load-bearing precast concrete floor and wall panels with PVC Roof Membrane and a mixture of Curtainwall/Punched windows and natural stone. Manganaro Southeast will be performing the drywall scope, including roof trusses as well as the acoustical ceiling scope.
